How to Get Along with Neighbors

Children and adults don't always agree with each other. They often have different ideas about living. But in a special group in London, children and adults live together in a friendly way. 

Each summer 200 children and 50 adults live together for eight weeks. Everyone works for a few hours each day. They do so, not just to keep busy. They want to find enjoyment in work. Some children work in the forests on the farm near the village and some learn to make things like tables and chairs. Adults teach them to do these things. 

There are a few free hours each day. Weekends are free, too. When they aren't busy, some of the children learn to take photos or draw and some sit around to talk or sing. All children choose their own ways to spend their free time. When people live together, they should have rules. In the group, children and adults make the rules together. If someone breaks a rule, the group will talk about it. 

One of the children says, "We have to stop thinking only about ourselves. I need to learn how to think about others, which will lead us to a better future. I'm looking forward to living a better life. "

When accidents happen to someone, such as car accidents, or serious illnesses, what should we do? We should look for professional medical help as soon as possible, and whether giving correct first aid in time can make a difference between life and death. 

Maybe calling 120 is the first action for most people. However, sometimes two or three minutes can make people lose their lives. When someone around knows a little about first aid, just two or three minutes can also help save a person's life. So, if we can call for help quickly before the ambulance(救护车) arrives, maybe we can keep ourselves and others safe. Here is some advice. 

Face the situation calmly. That is to say, no matter what kind of accident happens, keep calm first. Then you need to think about the following questions: ls there still any danger? How can I find ways to help?

Save life before going to the hospital and give first aid. When an accident occurs, ask for help first. Call the rescue(救援) phone number, such as 120, 119 or 110. And you can call on more people around to join you. When waiting for rescue, we should try our best to help. For example, we can check if the person is still breathing or not. It may be helpful if we speak to the person or tap(轻拍) on his or her shoulder. Don't be afraid to speak loudly or even shout. At the same time, we should try our best to make them feel less painful.

Replacing Real Meat
