Talking to Solve Friendship Problems

Sometimes our friends do things that make us unhappy. We might want to talk to them about these things. Here are some tips to make these talks easier:

1. Have good evidence that there is a problem. The evidence should be something you both agree on. Explain how it affects you. Use "I" to describe problems. For example, say "I feel hurt that you spend less time with me. " instead of "You never spend time with me!"

2. Stay calm during the talk. If you get angry, it might lead to a fight. Tell your friend that this talk makes you feel a little nervous. This shows a more human side. 

3. Listen to your friend's opinion. Don't just focus on proving yourself right. Try to understand how he or she feels. 

4. Listen carefully to your friend. Plan what you want to say. This helps you say it in a way that doesn't create trouble. 

5. Be realistic. Difficult problems can't be solved in just one talk. Think about what is possible to achieve in one discussion. This helps you set realistic goals. 

There's a new AI robot: ChatGPT. The tool is an AI chatbot system. OpenAI brought to the public in November 2022. Can you imagine the large, powerful AI system can achieve? ChatGPT the main information of your dialogue, using previous (先前的) questions and answers to provide replies. It gets the answers plenty of information on the Internet. 

You can ask ChatGPT anything, like explaining physics, asking for birthday party ideas and getting programming help. Perhaps it's not enough to take the place of all humans yet, but it can be creative and very useful. 

ChatGPT is free to use at the moment it is still in its research period. But when of people visit its website, it gets crowded and can't deal with what you ask for. It just means you should try visiting the website at a later time when there are fewer people. If you do not want to wait, there is a for you 一 pay $ 20 monthly.

In order to protect the environment, it is very important to learn about the environment. There are many ways to understand how to protect the environment, such as reading books, asking someone and so on. As students, you can read as many books as you can in your spare time. Books in the library are worth reading. They will help you learn more about protecting the environment. You can ask your classmates for some suggestions. They may have some good ideas. You can also get information about the environment on the Internet. Besides, I have some suggestions for you. 

In our daily life, some people save energy by  carpooling. For example, three or four persons can drive together in one car instead of driving three or four cars to work. 

Usually it is time-saving and easy to carpool with their neighbors to go to work or take their children to school. 

On the other hand, we should use energy-saving products. Some products like environment-friendly new energy cars are made specially to save energy. These cars can travel longer than common ones. They produce less pollution, too. Some new products like computers and TVs are made to save energy in efficient ways. Also, we should turn off the lights, the TV, the computer and so on when we don't use them. 

Finally, we should buy recyclable products instead of non-recyclable ones. 

Recyclable products usually take less energy. When we go shopping, pay attention to the recycle mark on the products. 

Travelling is one of the best ways to know the whole world. Here we list three travellers. Their travel stories have encouraged plenty of travellers and will continue to do so. 

Li Bai was a well-known Chinese poet in the Tang Dynasty. He was a great traveller, too. Of the over 1, 000 poems he left, nearly half refer to travel. Li Bai was considered as one of the early travel writers in China . His works are of importance to China's tourism culture. 

Xu Xiake began his journey when he was about 20. He spent 30 years travelling around China. He travelled to many places and climbed thousands of mountains. He was the first person to find the highest point of Huangshan Mountain. Xu also kept a diary while travelling. 

Erik Weihenmayer became blind when he was 13. But in 2001, he became the first blind man to get to the top of Qomolangma(珠穆朗玛). His experience made many people believe in themselves. He hopes that his success will change how people think about the blind.

A talk between Shenzhou- 14 astronauts and ASEAN teenagers started on November 1, 2022. The main talk place was in Beijing. The Shenzhou- 14 astronauts are Liu Yang, Chen Dong and Cai Xuzhe. The talk interested nearly 1, 000 teenagers from China and ASEAN member states. They talked with each other on the Internet.

Some students were interested in the three astronauts' life in the space station. The astronaut answered their questions patiently. There is no gravity（重力）in space, so things are not as heavy as they are on Earth. When they drop something, it doesn't fall to the floor. They eat and drink differently in space. They have special plates so that their food doesn't fly away. In fact, they can drink hot water and eat fresh and hot food in the space station. Though they can see sunrises and sunsets every 90 minutes in space, they still get 7 hours of sleep every night.

The three astronauts also say exercise is important for them as well. Since there is no gravity their muscles（肌肉） become weak very quickly. To prevent this from happening, they have to exercise on special machines to train their muscles every day. However, it is not all hard work in space. When they are not doing science experiments, writing reports or exercising, they watch movies and read the news for fun.

A high school student from the Philippines thought the talk was creative and interesting. It made him know more about the life of astronauts. He knew the beauty of our planet well from the talk, too.

Egypt (埃及), an ancient African country with a 5000-year history, is between the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea. The Suez Canal (苏伊士运河)  the two seas, making it easy for ships to sail between Asia and Europe.

The Red Sea is famous for  beautiful coral reefs (珊瑚礁). You can enjoy the colorful underwater life.

If there is one special thing you should do in Egypt, it is to visit the desert. 90% of Egypt is made  of desert. The Sahara Desert is the world's  desert and it covers the western and southern areas of Egypt.

The Nile River, the longest river in the world, runs  Egypt from the south to the north, providing this country with enough water and rich land. 95% of Egyptians live along the Nile River.

The official  of Egypt is Arabic, but many people also speak English. If you know French, it will go a long way in Egypt as .

In a word, Egypt is worth exploring and admiring.
