Day, a festive day. When it was a (一刻钟) past one, Zhu Xiaomeng went out to have fun. The streets were filled with people. Zhu Xiaomeng was happily walking (横跨、跨越) the busy street. Suddenly, she noticed(几个) beautiful flowers lying on the ground. She decided to collect them for the grandma who lived next to (她的). The grandma was very happy to receive the flowers, and invited Zhu xiaomeng in. She spent the(整个的) afternoon talking with her. They had a good time together.

One day, our English teacher Mr. White came into the classroom with a book in his hand. He started his lesson with a 1 , "Who can tell us what stress (压力) is like?" No one answered. Then he raised (举起) the book and asked, "How 2 is the book?"

Hearing the question, we began to 3 . One student said, "I think it is 100g." Another student said, "It's 200g." Our answers were different. 4 , Mr. White said, "It doesn't only depend (取决于) on the real weight (重量). It also has 5 to do with the time we hold it. If I hold it for a minute, it is OK. If I hold it for an hour, I will have a 6 in my right arm. If I hold it for a day, I will have to see a doctor. It is the same weight, 7 the longer I hold it, the heavier it becomes. This book 8 stress. If you hold it without putting it down, sooner or later, you will not keep on. No matter (无论) how much 9 you have, stop and have a rest for a while if possible. Boys and girls, you should learn to relax yourselves. I am sure you will live a happy school life."

Here is some advice for you to become a good student at school. 

Go to school on time. If you are late, you will miss some lessons. It's bad for your study. The teachers will be angry with you, too. So remember to go to school on time. 

Follow the school rules. Do not break the school rules. For example, you can't sleep in class. Don't fight with your classmates, and you should be friendly to your classmates and your teachers. 

Prepare (准备) for lessons before class. If you want to know what you will learn the next day, you'd better prepare for the new lessons. It is good for your study and it can help you get good grades. It will help you with your problems.

They are good for your balanced development (均衡发展). For example, playing sports can make you be good with your classmates. It can also make you healthy.

What's your idea for being a good student? 

If there was an empty lot (一块空地) in your neighborhood (街区), what would you want to turn it into? My classmates and I have turned such an empty lot into a place of hope.

The empty lot in our neighborhood was full of wild grass. As a project for our geography class, we wanted to change the lot. We hoped it could become a place to improve (改善) people's mental (心理的) health.

After weeks of designing, researching and making models (模型), we began our plans. Now the lot is a different place. There is a wood walkway with purple benches (长椅). Kids like the relaxing color, and they come to sit together and make friends.  

A few beautiful plants grow in the ground. There is also a bright blue hopscotch (跳房子游戏) board. We make it for a group of 8 to 10 school-aged kids who have no places to play in the neighborhood. And you can see a white wall painting with red words like "Love" and "Peace".

Now, the lot gives the neighborhood hope and beauty. More people love the neighborhood and have great hopes for things of the future.

This Festival has a history of over 3,000 years. People watched the moon to give thanks for the harvest (收获). Now, most people have enough food to eat, but the Mid-Autumn Festival is still meaningful because the full moon during the festival is a symbol (象征) of family reunions. As time goes by, it has wishes (祝愿) for good health and happiness.
