Life with new inventions is interesting and great. Inventions can help us in the future. Here are some inventions from the science magazine. Let's have a look.

My name is Lucy. I'm an e-school bag. I'm small and useful. I am now in someone's family. People use me to see a film or write an email. Students will use me to read books, study online and do homework at home in ten years. I think I am very helpful to people.

My name is Mike. I am thin and strong. I will come into everyone's family in ten years. I will help people do some housework. I will sweep the floor, do the dishes, make the bed and cook for them. They will have free time to relax.

Please look at me. My name is Peter. I am very small and light. People will use me, my brothers and my sisters in the future. We will take them to many places. We only use sunlight. We won't make any pollution. The air will be nice and fresh. That is good for people's health.

 There are two kinds of football games. One is American football, the other is soccer. In China many young men like playing soccer. It is very popular, too. 
But the Chinese don't call it soccer. They call it football. There are eleven players in each team. And the ball is round. Only the goal-keeper (守门员) can play the ball 
with hands. The other players must play the ball with feet. 
        In the USA, soccer is not very popular. They like playing American football better than playing soccer. There are also eleven players in a team. The ball is not round.
And the players can play the ball with hands or feet. And the goal(球门) is bigger than the goal of soccer game. American football is quite different from soccer.  

The New House

Grace and her family moved to a new house. It was huge. There was even a third floor. Grace's mom called it an attic(阁楼). 

They moved into the house on a winter day. The next day there was a storm. There was lots of snow. It kept falling and falling. 

Her parents were busy. They were putting things away. Grace played with her toys for a while but then she had an idea. Grace went up to the attic. 

The attic had a big room and a small room. The small room had a window and an old couch(长沙发椅). Grace sat down and watched the snow coming down. Soon she fell asleep. 

It was dark when her father woke her up. He was happy. He thought she had gone outside. 

Her dad said Grace could have the little attic room all to herself. Grace was happy to have her own special place.
