It's the second time for Harbin to hold ( 举办 ) this event. And the first time was in1996. The last time, the eighth, was in Japan in 2017. And it's turn for China to hold it this time.

Dear Joe,
I am writing you this letter to tell you about what the world used to be like when I was young.
Life was very different then. We didn't have phones when we wanted to talk to our friends. We didn't have email s either, so we had to write letters.
When we travelled from town to town, we used to walk or ride horses or take a cart (马车). Later we had buses and very few people had cars. Air travel was a luxury and we dreamed of riding on an airplane but now everyone does.
